Assistant Manager/Senior Executive Logistic

Sun Tyre & wheel systems (SUN-TWS) is a division of Sundaram Industries Limited,a leading rubber products company engaged in the manufacture of industrial tyres,engineering rubber components for the automotive and allied markets and retreading materials and services.The company is part of the US$ 7 billion TVS Group.Sundaram Industries Limited has been in business for over 70 years,with 27 manufacturing locations in india and Sri Lanka.In Sri Lanka Company is operated under the name of Sundaram Lanka Tyres Limited Located in Biyagama Processing Zone.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategically plan and manage logistics,warehouse,transportation and customer services.
2. Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
3. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers,manufacturers,retailers and consumers
4. Keep track of quality,quantity,stock levels,delivery times,transport costs and efficiency
5. Arrange warehouse,plan routes and process shipments.
6. Resolve and arising problems or complaints
7. Supervise,coach and train warehouse warkforce.
8. Meet Cost,productivity,accuracy and timeliness targets
9. Maintain metrics and annualize data timeliness targets
10. Comply with laws,regulations and ISO requirements.

Requirements

1.Prnoven working experience at least 5 years in Executive level
2.Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
3.Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
4.Proficient in standard logistics software
5.Exellent analytical,problem solving organizational skills
6.Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
7.Diploma/Degree in Logistics or Supply chain
